Our exclusive client based in Chorley, are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller join their busy accounts team. In this role, you will be sole responsibility for the credit control and the sales ledger. The role is hybrid and you can work in the office 1 day per week and 4 days from home. They are also flexible on start and finish times.

Duties of the role include:

  • Chase overdue accounts via telephone, email and letter
  • Ensure any invoice queries are resolved either by you or by internal poc’s to ensure prompt payment
  • Ensuring the aged debt report is updated weekly and accurately
  • Daily cash allocation and banking/allocating any cheques received
  • Ensuring any banking differences are identified and followed up promptly
  • Statement reconciliations daily to ensure ledger is clean and up to date

The successful candidate must have credit control and sales ledger experience and be used to working in a busy department. You must be used to working to tight deadlines, be a confident communicator and thrive in a target driven environment.
