Due to expansion, our exclusive client based in Chorley is looking for two Credit Controllers to join their team.  This role will be a hybrid position and you will work 3 days in the office and 2 from home.  It also has a flexible start and finish time.

Duties of the role include:

  • Daily chasing overdue accounts where necessary via telephone, email and letter
  • Processing credit notes and calculating any changes to invoices
  • Raising invoices and charges each quarter
  • Daily bank reconciliations including ledger posting and accurate allocations
  • Managing and processing daily direct debit collections
  • Liaising with external collection agents ie. Solicitors, Bailiffs where necessary
  • Implementation and monitoring of payment plans where necessary
  • Ad hoc tasks within the accounts department where necessary

The successful candidate will have previous credit control experience, be very organised and be able to build good working relationships with their customers to ensure timely payments.
