Talent Management and Employee Engagement
Join us at our next HR Exchange event on Thursday 14th September at Burnley College.
In response to feedback obtained at previous events, we have identified a ‘hot topic’ that has been repeatedly requested.
As a result, the next Lancashire HR Exchange will focus on Talent Management and Employee Engagement. On a day to day basis, many businesses are more concerned about finding and retaining staff to deliver key goods and services than most other considerations. At a time of intense competition, this is of particular importance with those individuals who are fulfilling business critical roles. Retaining a highly skilled workforce for your business is important for future prosperity.
However, there is very limited value in having a highly skilled and trained workforce if they aren’t engaged and motivated to complete their work. This is important across all business sectors, whether it be manufacturing or service provision industry.
We will bring to you best practice for identifying, developing, engaging and retaining your ‘high value’ individuals.
Our guest speaker Lisa Gibson will also be offering her advice on Talent Management. As a strategic HR Director with extensive experience in this area of practice, she will be able to give a great insight of how you can apply these techniques with your own employees.
I will also look closely at the legal considerations that need to be addressed when looking at the management and retention of key players within your team.
Our September event will provide practical advice on how to adopt a strategy resulting in the right conditions for all members of your organisation to give of their best each day, committed to your goals and values, motivated to contribute to the success of the business, with an enhanced sense of their own well-being and importance to the organisation.
It will also conclude with an update on relevant recent legislation and cases that may affect you and your business.
