Our exclusive client based in the Clitheroe area, is currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to work within their growing business. This niche business has grown really well over the past few years and needs an experienced person to run the day to day accounts for the management and the external accountants.
Duties of the role include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Calculating accruals and prepayments
- Preparing the fixed asset register
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns
- Processing wages
- All sales and purchase ledger duties
- Entering and reconciling transactions to the bank daily
- Reconciling the PaypPal account and the cash account
- Paying suppliers and dealing with any queries
You must have experience of working at a similar level for an SME business. You need to be friendly, be used to working on your own initiative and have an organised approach to work.
