The next Finance Director Lancashire event will take place at Farington Lodge, Leyland.

Thursday 19th March 2015

Over 70 Finance Directors regularly attend our quarterly events and the next one is in March 2015.

THE NW FD Network is in association with AFR Consulting, Moore and Smalley and Barclays. Our mission is to help Finance Directors and Senior Financial Controllers continue their professional development through:

  • Observing key note speakers
  • Expanding personal networks
  • Exchanging knowledge & ideas with peers
  • Receiving technical updates

At this event, which is taking place the morning after the Spring 2015 Budget, there will be an analysis of the Chancellor’s budget announcements and what they mean for businesses in the region.

We will also hear the awe inspiring story of a senior finance colleague whose record breaking team won 3 awards at the North West Finance Awards only for personal disaster to strike. His presentation will hopefully inspire attendees. It will have a strong focus on finance and corporate and personal lessons learnt through his experiences.

We will also have our regular business related  workshop discussions as volunteered by members of the group. At this event the topics will include FRS102, cloud accounting, overseas markets and business growth.
