Restructure and focus for 2013

AFR Consulting have kicked off 2013 with a great month following a restructure and re focus of the business at the end of 2012.

Director Phil Scott said: “We have taken things back to basics concentrating on our established team of consultants and core service offering; providing all levels of finance staff to SMEs in Lancashire and making top level FD and FC specialist placements across the wider North West.”

In early 2012 AFR Consulting decided to use 2011 profits to embark on ambitious expansion plans –and grew rapidly recruiting some experienced & big hitting consultants but during their time with the business through no fault of their own they found themselves experiencing their leanest billing periods of their career.

“At the end of 2012 we decided to revert to a strategy and structure that was tried and tested and gave us some of our most profitable times, the team are focused to getting back to what we do best this year offering great service through placing the best candidates.”

In October 2012 AFR launched a dedicated new brand to accommodate an emerging trend for top level finance professionals in the North West SME market www.PartTimeFDs.com.

AFR continue to service the accountancy practice market through their work with the ICAEW with Norwest Recruit.
