Accounts Assistant – TS/12350
Our Leyland based client, are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. Working closely with the FC, you will be the main point of contact for all transactional accounting duties.
Duties of the role include:
- Purchase ledger duties including inputting invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and dealing with any queries
- Preparing weekly and monthly payment runs ensuring suppliers are paid to their agreed terms
- Reconciling credit card statements
- Processing expenses
- Raising invoices
- Allocating payments coming into the business to the correct customer accounts
- Respond and resolve customer queries to ensure prompt payments
- Review overdue accounts and chase for any payments due
- Raise credit notes and send customer statements
- Bank reconciliations
You must have previous accounting experience to be considered for this role ideally in a varied accounts assistant position. You need to be a good communicator, have an organised approach to work as well as being able to work to deadlines. You must also have working knowledge of Sage.
