Our exclusive client, a well known retail company is currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. The company have been through a recent restructure, due to this and an internal promotion, the company is now looking for an experienced stand alone purchase ledger clerk.

Duties include:

  • Coding and inputting supplier invoices
  • Making BACs and Cheque payments to suppliers
  • Ensure suppliers are paid within the agreed time
  • Reconciling statements
  • Dealing with supplier queries
  • Reporting on weekly cash flow
  • Responsibility for staff credit card and expenses including posting for payments
  • Distribution of petty cash
  • Supporting the wider finance team where necessary

To be considered for this role, you need to be very experienced in Purchase Ledger and be used to running the purchase ledger from start to finish. You must be able to work to tight deadlines, be a confident communicator and be naturally organised.
