Our exclusive client, a well known property management company is currently recruiting for an experienced Treasury/Sales Ledger Team Leader to head up their treasury team. The role of this team is ensure the high volumes of cash is allocated correctly and in a timely manner.

DUTIES include:

  • Manage workload of team – 4 direct reports.
  • Attend Client Meetings to discuss cash position
  • Ensuring queries are resolved in required time frames
  • Ensuring cash processing is dealt with within required time frames
  • To extract statements from a variety of banking platforms on a daily basis
  • Post receipts in accordance with remittance instructions or as per Group Policy where applicable.
  • Work closely with colleagues in other Accounts Receivable teams to manage suspense and unallocated cash
  • Report suspense cash position on a weekly basis to wider business and stakeholders
  • Bank cheques & post in accordance with remittance instructions or as per Group Policy where applicable
  • Perform bank reconciliations both at month end and updating throughout the month
  • Input BACS/CHAPS instructions to Online Banking Platform
  • Maintain deposit schedule and ledger postings for Chorley office

Ideally you will be from a sales ledger, cashiering or banking background and have a strong understanding of cash allocation and banking.  You will have strong Excel skills, be organised with an eye for detail, be a confident communicator and be able to work to tight deadlines.
