Finance Business Partner – SJS/12302

This design and manufacturing company supply products to customers across a range of sectors. Working with both SME’s and corporate customers they can offer a fully bespoke service to meet their clients requirements. Operating as a subsidiary of a larger group they enjoy strong financial backing and support whilst also having an ambitious management team on site. Current growth has meant they are forecasting a turnover of £28m this year and are now looking to strengthen the finance department by appointing a Finance Business Partner with a strong management accounting background to focus on costs and margins to drive further profitability

This role will be a key position that supports decision making and you will be expected to provide meaningful reporting and analysis working closely with both operational and commercial teams to advise and influence. The key requirements for this role will be:

• Monthly reporting to tight deadlines including detailed commentary and analysis
• Preparation of the management accounts and supporting month end close
• Reporting key variances to site FD and group CFO
• Producing KPI reports and performance analysis
• Financial modelling of capex projects and commercial / production initiatives
• Review meetings with key stakeholders to drive efficiency and profitability
• Drive improvements to budgeting and forecasting process
• Product costing to improve pricing and margin understanding
