Trainee Assistant Accountant – TS/12371

Our client based in Preston, are currently looking for a Trainee Accountant to join their busy accounts team. The company have made two internal promotions and recently been through a restructure and now require a strong trainee to develop and grow within the team.  The business will pay for full study support for either CIMA or ACCA and will provide exam and revision leave.

The duties of the role will include:

• Supporting different cost centres with their budgets and analysing any variances
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Vat returns for different cost centres
• Monthly cash flow forecasts
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Managing the accruals and prepayments
• Bank reconciliations for various bank accounts
• Fixed Assets
• Adhoc reporting for the management accountant and FC

This role would suit someone who has some accounting experience but wants to take the next step up to gaining experience of management accounts.  If you are AAT Qualified or not far off, this maybe the role for you.
