Group Payroll Manager – TS/12320
Our exclusive client based in Chorley, is recruiting for a Group Payroll Manager to head up their payroll team. In this hands-on role, you will manage two members of staff who will support you in running the 10+ monthly and 5+ weekly payrolls.
Duties include:
- Supervising and supporting two payroll assistants
- Processing 10+ monthly payrolls for group
- Check accuracy of all payroll input and reports prior to final processing and highlight any discrepancies
- Pension payments for auto enrolment and a private pension
- PAYE reconciliation, submission, and payments to HMRC
- Ensure holidays and sickness records are up to date
- Yearend reconciliation for all payrolls
- Preparing all spreadsheet/paperwork for new tax year
- P11d’s for all companies
- Recharges of private medical insurance
- Ad hoc HR duties where necessary
To be considered for this role you must have operated at a senior level within payroll whilst also still being hands on. You need to have good communication skills and be used to working to tight payroll deadlines. You must be used to working confidentially and with discretion.
