Accounts Assistant – TS/17618

Our exclusive client based in Rochdale, are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy and successful business. This successful candidate will initially start in this role, but the role will develop and grow over time.
Duties include:
- Full responsibility for 3 separate businesses including processing invoices and dealing with queries
- Reconciling all supplier statements
- Preparing monthly payments lists
- Sales ledger duties including raising sales invoices for 4 separate companies and sending out statements
- Small amount of chasing customers for payments over the phone
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage
- Stock management
- Petty cash
- Ad hoc admin duties
Ideally the successful candidate will have worked for a smaller business and be used to a varied accounts assistant position. You will be a self-starter, be used to running your own workload and be used to working to tight deadlines.
