Due to growth, this family run business is recruiting for an Accounts Manager to oversee the finance needs of the business. They are looking for someone for approximately 25 -30 hours per week to be worked over a 4-day period. The start and finish time is flexible.
The duties of the role include:
- Managing the accounting function
- Preparation of month end accounts
- Cash flow analysis and forecasting
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Invoicing and credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns and banking
- Payroll administration and expenses
This is a brand-new role therefore part of the role will involve working with the directors to develop systems and reporting to suit the needs of the business.
The ideal person will have worked within a smaller business and be used to being the sole point of contact for accounting. You will enjoy being hands on with all the day to day accounting processes.
