Management Accountant – SJS/22069

This fantastic opportunity is with the UK division of a global group of companies respected in the industry for their strength in design and development coupled with manufacturing excellence. They are seeking a driven and career orientated Management Accountant who is keen to develop themselves and can operate at the highest level to build credible relationships throughout the organisation. To be considered for this role applicants must be studying towards CIMA or ACCA, with previous experience of management accounting and analysis. Reporting into the Finance Director your responsibilities for this position will be:

• Accurate financial reporting and analysis to track performance
• Month-end close, including preparation of required journal entries
• Analysis and review of bills of material to ensure accurate product costing
• Profitability analysis by product line
• Preparation of annual budget and forecast
• Working Capital monitoring and improvement through Inventory Management
• Analysis of costings and productivity/efficiency savings
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with problem resolution and continuous improvement

Working as part of a tight knit finance team you will be expected to play a pro-active role in driving out cost through improved processes and commercial awareness. The ideal Management Accountant candidate would possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively alongside other departments, you must also be able to manage multiple projects and work to both site and corporate level reporting deadlines. The position would suit someone with a positive attitude willing to resolve problems and complete tasks that may be outside of their normal duties but contribute to the attainment of strategic objectives. The role will involve working closely with the FD and has excellent progression prospects.
