Credit Controller – TS/17698

Our client, a well-known company based in Skelmersdale, are currently recruiting for an experienced credit controller to join their established team. The current person has been in place for over 20 years and is approaching retirement hence the need to recruit a replacement.
The duties of the role:
- Responsible for all credit control duties, creating sales invoices and raising credit notes
- Ensure the overdue debt is kept to a minimum and sales invoices are raised promptly and accurately
- Credit checking and setting credit limits for new and existing customers
- Working on the international accounts dealing with various currencies
- Collecting overdue monies via telephone and written correspondence
- Weekly review of debtors within department heads
- Resolving any customer invoice queries
- Issuing and reconciling customer statements
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Any other credit control and sales ledger duties
Experience of international trading and international credit control would be beneficial for this role though not essential. You must have credit control experience to be considered and ideally from a role where you have been the sole point of contact for the credit control/sales ledger. You must be organised, a strong and confident communicator and have a real passion for credit control
