Accounts Assistant – TS/17700

Our exclusive client based in Blackburn are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. The business had a brilliant year last year and have had another record-breaking start to this year and are therefore looking for an extra person to join their accounts department.
The duties of the role:
- Purchase ledger including processing invoices and dealing with supplier queries
- Assisting with the payment runs on a weekly and monthly basis
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting the sales ledger (setting up credit limits for new customers, raising sales invoices)
- Assisting the HR Manager with payroll processing and gathering the information to ensure this is accurate
- Ensuring any paper work for any starters and leavers is up to date
- Other ad hoc admin duties within the accounts and HR department
This is a very varied role and would suit someone who likes to be doing something different every day. Due to this, you must be able to multitask and be able to juggle a busy workload. You must also be a confident and friendly communicator as well as being a good team player.
