Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. This service business have grown dramatically over the past three years and after taking a new person on last year now need another person to join the team due to the busy workload.
Duties of the role are:
- Processing financial transactions for accurate records in financial systems and reports
- Produce payment packs and invoices for customers to strict deadlines
- Monitor any incoming queries to the central finance email and action/distribute where necessary
- Review and reconcile incoming monies from all sources ensuring correct allocation
- Review and reconcile supplier statements
- Communicating with other departments to ensure accounting information is correct and accurate
This role would suit someone who loves to work at a fast pace within a niche market. You need to be a strong Excel user and ideally have previously used Sage. Ideally you will have experience of working within purchase or sales ledger and are looking for a varied role.
In return you will receive a competitive salary, AAT study support (should you want it – this isn’t essential for the client, they are happy either way) 23 days holidays plus banks, pension scheme and on site parking. After the initial training period there will be an option to WFH 1 or 2 days per week. Also the client can be flexible on start and finish time each day.
