Financial Controller – SJS/12476

As a result of this they have identified the need to strengthen the team by employing a talented Financial Controller who can make an impact and add value. This role will be vital part of the senior leadership team and will be tasked with ensuring quality controls and processes are in place to support accurate reporting and analysis that will drive performance.

Reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for leading the finance team on a day to day basis ensuring they develop and perform at their full potential. The key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will be:

• Leading all the budgeting and forecasting across the business
• Managing cashflow and all transactional activity
• Analysis of business performance across cost centres
• Ensuring completion of monthly management accounts
• Reporting departmental KPI’s and identifying action points
• Managing the audit and preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Participating in projects to drive insight into data and deliver solutions

The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form relationships across the business. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to prepare Financial Models / analyse large data sets would be highly advantageous. Previous experience as a Finance Manager / Financial Controller will be essential and they are looking for someone ideally CIMA / ACCA or ACA qualified although applications would be welcomed from strong QBE’s.
