Our client based in Blackburn is currently looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy accounts team.  The successful candidate will do the entire purchase ledger from start to finish therefore experience is essential for this role.

Duties of the role include:

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices
  • Dealing with supplier queries via telephone and email
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Preparing payment runs on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Ensuring any supplier issues are resolved promptly to ensure we are adhering to agreed payment terms
  • Scanning invoices on to the system
  • Producing regular cash flow reports for the managers
  • Any other duties as required within the department

The ideal candidate will have worked in a busy purchase ledger team where they will have been the main point of contact for the purchase ledger.
