Our exclusive client based in Chorley is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their busy team. This company have grown rapidly over the past three years and due to this need an extra person within the finance team.
Duties of the role include:
- Processing high volumes of invoices
- Dealing with supplier queries via telephone and email
- Raising sales invoices
- Inputting high volumes of financial data ensuring all financial records and transactions are inputted accurately
- Review and reconcile any funds coming into the business
- Allocating payment to correct customer accounts
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Supporting the finance team when needed
The ideal candidate will have previously worked within a finance team ideally within either purchase ledger or sales ledger role. You must be used to working accurately and to tight time scales and have a real interest in accounting. The company will pay for AAT should you wish to study though this isn’t essential if you do not want to study.
