Our manufacturing client based in Blackburn are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their busy team. This leading manufacturer need a proactive and highly organised credit controller to run the credit control and sales ledger from start to finish.
Duties of the role include:
- Set up new customer accounts including setting credit limits in line with company policy
- Collecting overdue debt and maintaining accounts ensuring customers stay within their credit limit
- Raise sales invoices and credit notes and sending statements to customers
- Preparing the paperwork for defaulting debtors where necessary
- Highlighting any issues with accounts to managers and to the sales team
- Weekly and monthly account reconciliations
- Producing reports on KPI’s and customer accounts using Excel
- Any other credit control or sales ledger duties that are needed to be dealt with
To be considered for this role, you must have previous credit control experience ideally within a role where you have also dealt with sales ledger duties. You must be a confident communicator who can build relationships easily whilst also know when to be firm to ensure payments are made promptly.
