Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk. This stable and established business requires an experienced candidate to work alongside one other clerk due to the volumes of work and will have full responsibility for the utility bills for the different sites.
The duties of the role:
- Logging all utility invoices onto the utility register
- Coding, scanning and processing utility invoices ready for payment
- Accurately allocating of account to ensure balances agree with the supplier
- Obtaining meter readings where necessary and liaising with the supplier
- Liaising with regional offices by email and telephone
- Assisting in the posting of non-utility invoices for all companies
- Assisting with payment runs
- Assisting in the bank reconciliations for all companies
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
This role would suit an experienced purchase ledger clerk who is looking for a new challenge. You need to be naturally organised, be a strong communicator and be a good team player.
