Credit Controller – TS/17269

Our manufacturing client based in the Bury area, are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller. This small team need an extra person due to business growth and internal promotion.
Duties include:
- Setting up new customer accounts and setting credit limits
- Allocating payments to accounts
- Raising any credits to ensure prompt payments
- Chasing overdue accounts varying from small companies to larger blue chip customers
- Increasing and decreasing credit limits where necessary
- Putting accounts on stop and removing them where necessary
- Ensuring discounts and given to correct customers and removed if payment terms are not adhered to
- Supporting the credit manager in any duties within the team
You must have previous credit control experience to be considered for this role. You must also be a confident and friendly communicator who isn’t afraid to get on the phone and chase overdue payments.
