Our client, based in Haslingden, is currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team. The company has grown really well over the past few years and due to an internal promotion, now need a credit controller to deal with all aspects of credit control and sales ledger.

Duties of the role include:

  • Credit control – chasing payment ensuring debtors are minimised and customers stay within their terms
  • Resolving customer queries to ensure prompt payment
  • Taking payments over the phone where necessary
  • Allocating payments to customer accounts
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Checking sales invoices and credit notes are correct
  • Liaising with credit insurers to check and set customer terms
  • Reporting any potential issues with any accounts to the FC
  • Working alongside the sales team

You must have a number of years experience within credit control to be considered for this role.  You must be a confident communicator with a real love for credit control.  You need to be organised and be able to manage your own workload as well as working to tight timescales.
