Group Financial Reporting Manager – SJS/12603

This wonderful opportunity would suit an ambitious ACA / ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant looking to join a fast growing and highly entrepreneurial business. The role will provide fantastic scope to work with an exceptional senior finance team, offering exposure to the Directors and other internal and external stakeholders. The business is very well funded and pursuing a buy and build strategy making a number of successful acquisitions in the last few years with more in the pipeline so you will be joining at an exciting time!

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller this role will be responsible for the following areas:

• Production of the monthly management accounts, including group consolidation
• Balance sheet control and reconciliation
• Technical accounting to support acquisitions
• Preparing statutory accounts and managing the audit
• Reporting and control of group cashflow
• Liaising with HMRC re tax, VAT, P11d etc.

A key part of this role will involve on going improvement of processes and controls to drive the business growth, integrating accounting systems to support the high volume of transactions across their large customer base. The ideal candidate should be able to identify areas for improvement, design action strategies and lead the development of processes and controls in this fast moving and constantly changing environment. There will also be scope for plenty of projects both financial and non-financial in the wider business.
