Assistant Accountant – TS/17339

Our exclusive client based in Bolton, are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy accounts team.  This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to study and develop their management accounts skills further, with a view to developing into a Finance Manager role in the coming years.

Duties of the role include:

• Assisting with monthly management accounts
• Producing management reports
• Analysing information for senior management and reporting on findings i.e. payroll cost increasing, utility bills
• Accruals and prepayments
• Reviewing and reporting on car hire contracts
• Improving procedures and processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Profit and loss reporting and reviewing
• Assisting purchase and sales ledger to understand the business

This role would suit an Assistant Accountant who is studying CIMA or who would like to start studying CIMA.  This is a development role with a progression path for you to step into the Finance Manager role therefore you must have a real passion for accounting, be focused, enthusiastic and be excited by the opportunity.
