Our exclusive client based in Chorley are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team.
Duties include:
- Reconcile invoices and pass for payment
- Check and maintain weekly timesheets before sending to the payroll for payment
- Analyse and report any price differences to relevant department
- Balance, input and reconcile sales into accounting system
- Reconcile daily banking for sites reporting any discrepancies
- Calculate accruals and prepayments
- Reconcile balance sheet control accounts
- Manage, review and report on weekly stock orders highlighting any anomalies
- Supporting the wider accounts team in times of absence
The successful candidate will have accounting experience and have a naturally analytical mind. You need to be a confident Excel user who is numerate and articulate with good communication skills.
