Our client, based near Leigh, are currently recruiting an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy and expanding team. This is a standalone role therefore experience is essential for this role.

Duties include:

  • Processing high volumes of invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries via telephone and/or email
  • Regular reconciliations
  • Preparing bi-weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Assisting with month end closure
  • Ad hoc accounting duties linked with the accounts payable team

You must be a confident communicator, a good team player and be naturally organised.  You will work methodically and to tight deadlines.
