Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk – TS/12331
Our exclusive client based in Chorley, are currently recruiting for Purchase Ledger/Accounts Assistant to join their busy accounts team. This is a brand new role due to the company growing rapidly.
Duties of the role include:
- Matching and inputting high volumes of invoices
 - Dealing with supplier queries via phone and email
 - Preparing the payment runs weekly and monthly ensuring supplier payment terms are being achieved
 - Producing reports for the Finance Manager on cash flow and invoices due for payment
 - Bank reconciliation’s
 - Allocating payments coming into the business
 - Statement reconciliations
 - Raising credit notes where necessary
 - Ad hoc accounting duties
 
The successful candidate must have accounting experience and be used to working in a busy accounts department. You will be the main point of contact for purchase ledger therefore you must have purchase ledger experience.
